ATA Trap Shoot 2016 Program<<

29-Time, All American ATA Trapshooter Phil Kiner of Cheyenne Wyoming, is coming to the Club for two separate 2-day trapshooting clinics; on Saturday- Sunday May 21-22 and on Monday-Tuesday May 23-24.This is the first time Mr. Kiner is coming to our Club.

 The class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 students each to allow Mr. Kiner to provide individual personal instruction to each shooter. Cost of the 2-day clinic is $350 plus standard club shoot fees. Typically 175 targets are shot at plus 150 more if shooting doubles. Standard club target fees will apply. Bring your own shotgun and shells to shoot.

 Day 1 starts with a "chalk talk" of about 90 minutes. In addition to the basics, there is discussion regarding vision and mental attitude and concentration. You also receive concentration “tips” that are immediately applicable to your shooting. Next we initial CHECK GUNFIT. We then go to the practice line – to shoot and videotape. Day 2 we shoot 25 singles warm-up and then switch to handicap (125 targets) and then doubles (150 targets).

 Phil Kiner has won many impressive ATA awards spanning 35 years of shooting, including 50 Wyoming State championships, 78 Grand American trophies, and more than 100 Satellite Grand trophies.  He is the first and only shooter to break 400 x 400 on Championship All-Around targets, not once but twice. Currently he conducts clinics across the USA and has instructional videos for purchase.
